Program Changes
All Traveller2000 holidays are pre-arranged packages and no individual program changes or modifications can be made. If you wish to create your own program, kindly fill out the Itinerary Planner and our Travel Consultant will be able to assist you.

Tour Package Excludes
Airfares, airport taxes, visas, meals or sightseeing (except where specified), cost of passport or any other documentation, laundry, drinks, excess baggage charges, telex, telephone, fax or communication charges or expenditure on any items of a personal nature.

Child & Infant
For the purposes of tour price calculations, a child is aged between 2 and under 12 years and are generally granted a reduction of 50% of the tour price, provided that he/she is accompanied by at least TWO full-paying adults and stays in the same room. An infant is aged under 2 years, and is usually provided with a cot and other ground services free of charge. Please check the exact details with us before any reservations are made.

Accommodation and Meals
Accommodation with bath and/or shower and air-conditioning is provided at hotels listed under the Traveller2000 tour program according to their category and standard. Accommodation is in a shared twin-bedded room, with a supplementary charge for single occupancy. For a third occupant sharing the same room, a sofa bed or roll-away bed will be provided. Please note that Traveller2000 cannot guarantee accommodation in a particular hotel and reserves the right to to substitute a hotel of similar standard should the situation require it. Hotel rooms are generally run of house otherwise stated. Particular room requests (e.g. interconnecting, double bedding versus twin etc.) can be requested, BUT NOT GUARANTEED

All Traveller2000 tour programs include American Breakfast except for tours being offered in smaller provinces, of which a more simple breakfast will be served. Lunch or dinner will be provided when indicated on the program.

Transfers and Tours
Private AIR-CONDITIONED cars, microbuses or motor coaches are used for passengers partaking on the tours and/or transfers, depending on the number of participants travelling on the same day.

Baggage Allowance
Free baggage allowance for international flights is limited to 40 kgs/88 lbs. per person for First Class passengers, 30 kgs/66 lbs. for Executive/Business Class and 20 kgs/44 lbs. for Economy Class passengers. Payment for excess luggage charges is the sole responsibility of the passenger.

Pre-departure Contact
It is essential to ensure that we are advised of a telephone/fax number or e-mail address where you can be reached within 24 hours prior to your departure for Thailand or Indochina.

Stopover Expenses
Stopover expenses, accommodation, etc., for passengers awaiting commencement of their chosen tour, or after terminating, while awaiting onward connections, are not covered in the tour price. In most cases, however, Traveller2000 can arrange for accommodation and other services at the point of arrival, or departure at special, favorable prices.

Departure Days
Traveller2000 tour programs usually depart daily, except tours where a specific departure day or date is mentioned. Tour member travelling on the same date to the same destinations are considered as one group. Transfers and tours are therefore operated jointly.

Tour Guides
All sightseeing tours include services of local English-speaking guide. Other language guides are available upon request.

Travel Documents
Prior to departure, the tour member must be in possession of a valid passport (atleast 6 months), necessary visas and the Traveller2000 receipt (which serves as form of payment for elements of the Traveller2000 package throughout the journey).

Room Check-in/out
Normal check-out time is 12 noon. This means if you arrive early morning and would like your room available it will be necessary to book from the night before. Alternatively if you are departing late evening and would like to hold your room, an extra night will be required. The normal extra night rate for the package will be charged.

Definition of Room Types
Single Room: When an adult or child occupies a room alone.
Share Twin: When two adults, two children or one adult and one child share the same room using twin or double beds.
Triple Rooms: Usually consist of a double bedded, or a twin bedded room, with an additional sofa bed or a folding roll-away. While suitable for children, they may not be quite as comfortable for adults. Three adults sharing the same room each pay the share twin rate.
Child Extra Bed: When one child shares the same room with two persons and occupies an extra bed.
Child Share Bed: When one child does not have their own bed but share a bed with one or two adults or another child. Suitable only for small children. Beds are usually one double or two twins.

Deposit
A deposit of US$50 is required at the time when tour reservation is made (this will be deducted form final invoice). We will then make reservations and issue confirmation invoice.

Payment
Full payment is required 14 days prior to departure date. If for any reason the balance payment is not received at due date, Traveller2000 reserves the right to treat your booking as cancelled and retain the deposit of US$50.

Final Confirmation
Upon receiving full payment we will issue tour confirmation program and receipt indicating all services being provided.

Late Bookings
Bookings may be requested at short notice but will be subject to availability of accommodation, tours, flights and full payment must be made immediately on confirmation.

Amendment fees
A fee of US$10 per file, per amendment will be charged by Traveller2000 in addition to any charges levied by hotels, ground/cruise operators or airlines. An amendment constitutes a change to an existing booking and not a transfer to another tour, wherein cancellation fees may apply.

Extensions
For extension during any particular tour programs after commencement of travel, kindly contact the head office at address below to check for availability.

Cancellation
Payment is refundable minus bank charges if the arrangement is cancelled in writing and must be signed by the person who made the original booking prior to departure date:
30 days or more : Full deposit refund
Between 15 - 29 days : Deposit lost
Between 14 and 7 days : 50% of total payment returned
Less than 7 days : Total price lost

Refunds
After commencement of travel no refund, either in full or in part, will be given for unutilized services included in the program. See Refund & Cancellation Policy

Responsibility of Traveller2000
Traveller2000, hereinafter called "The Operator" acts as agent for the person or companies providing accommodation, transport or other services, hereinafter called "Service Providers" and The Operator issues all coupons, vouchers, tickets or other documents on the Service Providers' terms and conditions.

The tour member acknowledges that neither The Operator, affiliated company, servants or agents shall be responsible or become liable in contract or tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay to person or property, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any Service Provider or by "force majeure" or other events beyond the Operator's control, including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, pilferage, delays, severe weather, Acts of God, Acts of Government, accidents to or failure of machinery, equipment, vehicles or industrial disputes.

The Operator shall not be liable for, or responsible to, any tour member in the event of dissatisfaction based on personal opinion regarding the standard of service or accommodation provided by any Service Provider nor be liable or responsible for any disappointment, distress, lack of enjoyment arising from any act or omission whatsoever. The Operator will only acknowledge liability in the case of proven justified complaints relating to specific and tangible inadequacies of facilities, accommodation or services provided. In the event of such a complaint the tour member is requested to immediately contact the Operator office or Service Provider, hotel etc., for remedial action to resolve any problem or irregularity at that time.

Only if such a complaint has been lodged will The Operator consider to fully investigate and act on any complaint.

Travel Insurance
All Traveller2000 tour members joining general tour programs and diving packages in Thailand (unless specified) are insured with New Hampshire Insurance "Inbound Travel Insurance" (as deemed suitable by ATTA - Association of Thai Travel Agent). For outbound travel insurance click here
